So, another song from Tristan Prettyman’s new album Hello…x was featured on the Hills last night. What better way to cap off the Tristan Prettyman contest! I have to admit the Post-Paris episodes of the Hill have been highly entertaining who wouldn’t want an inside glimpse at Kelly Cutrone and the People’s Revolution staff work like mad?! My bet is that Lauren couldn’t hack it there…she doesn’t seem too keen on working late hours or at least have work interfere with play (remember Jason’s birthday). Of course no episode was as entertaining as THE Paris episode, but that was only because my girlfriends and I played a little drinking game…we taped a paper mustache on the screen and drank every time it landed on one of the girls’ face. By the end of the episode you are intoxicated and giggled out. 🙂  Okaaay, so back to Tristan…her single
‘Madly’, which is available for download on itunes, was featured in last weeks Hills episode, “Back to LA”. And last night, her song “Don’t Work Yourself Up” was featured on the “Just Be Careful” Episode, take a listen below:

It is definitely one of my favorites from the new album, and I will be able to hear it live Thursday night at the
Blender Theater at Gramercy She is amazing live, and my friend who saw her show last week as she was making her way across the country, said her new stuff is some of her best set. So if you’re in the NYC area, come check it out!!!

You’ll see Tristan performing “Don’t Work Yourself Up” among others live, and it will look and sound like this but better…

because we’ll be in the room! 🙂 (Can you tell I’m excited hear her new stuff live!?) Additionally, I want to thank you for all the entries for the Tristan Prettyman + Elwood Clothing… I am in the process of putting all the entries in my favorite (and lucky) Eugenia Kim hat to select randomly.  I will notify the winner via email (to get shipping details), so if you’re feeling lucky, be on the look out for an email from me! I will of course announce on the site too…I can’t wait!
