Stars were prolific on the spring runways.  Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent were two shows where stars took a front row seat, and I’m not talking about the Hollywood variety. The Chanel models looked they were headed to a high fashioned Independence day BBQ, while bold star cut-outs were a mainstay at YSL. Stars, not onlike hearts,  are a motif that can easily be styled into teeny bopper territory. Teens everywhere doodle stars and hearts on everything from their notebooks, Vans, tank-tops, to their jean cut-offs. So how do you rock the star trend without looking two cutesy?  Try a star print in black or white, or add a piece of star jewelry to a glam cocktail dress. Unless of course you’re going for the sketched Vans look, then by all means…go for it.
