Rebecca Minkoff’s bags are a staple in accessory closets everywhere, so we were thrilled to see her New York Fashion Week Runway debut. She kicked off the start studded event with a performance by Sean Lennon & Charlotte Kemp (a/k/a Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger). When the models were ready to march the duo switched to an instrumental accompaniment. The collection had a urban gypsy theme that ultimately was the perfect combination of that edgy rock aesthetic we all can’t get enough of, effortless bohemian, and glam tailoring. The styling was pitch perfect and the printed silk, leather, tweed, and knits meshed nicely. This collection had everything a downtown girl could ever need in her closet for Fall: tailored jackets, skinny pants & leggings, printed dresses & tunics.
