I’ve been debating about what I should do with my hair for a while now. I can’t decide, so in my first video (ever…be warned I’m no professional!) I am asking YOU for your help. What do you think will look good on me & suit my tastes.

Thanks in advance for your help! (P.S. no Bald Britney jokes allowed! 🙂 )

I just donated about 8.5 inches about a month ago. I’m so glad I did it… also because I needed a change.

I donated through Pantene beautiful lengths. Here’s the website:
http://beautifullengths.com/en_US/requirements.jsp You’ll find the requirements there. There is also a program called Locks of Love. They require a minimum of 10 inches. Neither accepts hair that has been permanently dyed.

I don’t have many recommendations about the style but don’t do the Posh spice thing. I think too many people are doing it right now. Also, if you don’t like to go to the stylist every 6 weeks, not the cut for you.

I think the long hair thing is played out. So many girls are walking around with way too long hair and it doesn’t have any style.

I did a bob with some stacked layers in back (not a la 90s but a more modern version). The front is about mid neck and I’m happy with it.

Also, I went and consulted with my stylist before cutting (and putting a demi-permanent die on it).

Thanks Amanda for that link! I put my hair last night in a low pony & had my friend measure it…I’m right at 9 1/2 inches from the start of the pony to the end. That would leave me enough for a bob. I am not daring enough to do a posh spice do. A lot of people are doing it, and to be quite honest I don’t have the jaw line to pull it off. My bangs aren’t growing out very fast, like I said in my video I had them cut straight across and the whole reason I didn’t get my hair cut is because I was trying to grow them out. I have had shorter hair in the past…when I first moved to new york 2 years ago I had my hair cut pretty short. 🙂
