I attended the Gustavo Arango show on Saturday at the Altman Building and was very pleased with the jewel toned evening gowns. Personally, I am not a fan of orange, but there were a few looks in the citrus hue that won me over. I was thrilled with his three final looks that included a plum silk satin organza gown, a charcoal silk parachute gown (that was surprisingly quite beautiful despite the interesting choice of fabric), and the emerald silk chiffon gown with the black satin bodice. Any one of those gowns would make for a great red carpet choice. The models had smoky eyes, nude lips, and slightly undone updos with wispy curls framing their face.
