Part two of my fashion week round up was slightly delayed because of a minor hiccup with my trusty macbook, but now that I’m up and running, I will continue to round up favorite looks from collections shown in and around Bryant Park last week!

Badgley Mischka:
Gorgeous, show stopping, red carpet looks. You’ll be seeing them at the Oscars, that I’m sure of.

Calvin Klein:
I loved the clean lines used in this collection. It really was a minimalist collection with stunning perfectly constructed gowns being the highlight.

Derek Lam:
Derek Lam’s collection was very moody…dark colors were shown throughout. I found the evening wear looks to be the highlights of the collection.

J. Mendel:
There was nothing new or unexpected in the F/W 2008 Collection, just beautiful, red carpet worthy gowns…just what you would expect from J. Mendel.

Vera Wang:
Vera Wang’s collection was a lot of fun.  I loved the oversized flowers on the dresses and blouses and the interesting draping of the gowns. I also dug the hats and colored tights (my weak points it seems).

Tadashi Shoji:

This collection was gorgeous, with stunning evening looks. My favorites were the one shoulder jewel toned dresses.

Narciso Rodriguez:

I really loved this dress, thats all.

Rodarte:
The Rodarte collection balanced soft ballerina inspired dresses against a harder more goth inspired looks. The collection worked, but I’m not sure how wearable the collection is.

Great round-up–that dusty pink J. Mendel is wonderful.
