i am so excited to be participating the in the alice in wonderland swap, and i had so much fun putting this package together that i decided to photograph it before i sent it out to an undisclosed location (now that i think about it… it is curiously close to dick cheney’s last known whereabouts–i’m just saying):

my swap partner’s favorite characters are the cheshire cat and the caterpillar, so i found an adorable mini journal with a vintage looking illustration of the cheshire cat & alice that i am positive she would like. i decided to paint my take on the scene in the chapter “advice from a caterpillar” to make the package a little different & fun. (my painting can be better viewed over on my art journal.)

i also found alice temporary tattoos, adorable alice die cut cards (seen wrapped in a purple bow), and an alice in wonderland coloring book with 36 original illustrations blown up for coloring. the coloring book isn’t your typical drugstore coloring book…it also features an abridged version of the story, and the pages are suitable for pen or markers. i hope my partner likes this! swapping is too much fun! i can’t wait to get my swap package!

i signed up for this swap via swap-bot.com , you can also find swaps on getcrafty.com and craftster.com. i think swap-bot is the best site of all of them though.
