Hadley Hutton is a freelance artist based out of Portland, Oregon whose work draws inspiration from Asian prints & patterns, as well as beautiful things found in nature. Each piece is created with layered colored pencil and watercolor pencil drawings, ink, archival digital media, pastels and encaustics. Works on wood are made from archival drawings, paintings, and prints on paper that are then mounted on wood, layered with oil pastels and encaustic wax. Works on canvas are painted, and/or printed on canvas, and then layered with oil pastel and micro-crystalline wax medium (a flexible wax that adheres to pliable surfaces).
