Inspiring Images From the Kate Moss & Jamie Hince Wedding

Kate Moss is on the cover of Vogue’s September issue and inside are more gorgeous photos of her wedding to Jamie Hince of ‘The Kills’ shot by Mario Testino. The wedding took place at  the gorgeous St. Peter’s Church located in Southrop, Gloucestershire. The photos are truly stunning. Of course, the photos of Kate and her daughter Lila Grace steal the show, but I also really love that the couple recreated the Mick & Bianca Jagger wedding photo in the back of the car. See some of my favorite images of the Moss-Hince wedding below:

{wedding inspiration} BHLDN moodboards

I’ve been playing around with the new Moodboard tool at BHLDN that allows you to upload your own photos and inspiration and mix with BHLDN products and images to help you plan your next event. When I created this moodboard, I had an outdoor wedding under an old oak tree in mind. I had images of an ethereal bride with hair and makeup similar to the Valentino models at the Fall Couture show, with soft, romantic details. My moodboard is below, click through for image sources and details:

{Something Blue} Inspired Bride

I love the idea of an all white wedding with a bright blue shoe peeking out underneath the bride’s gown. Below, you’ll find the bridal attire, accessories, and wedding inspiration I’ve been smitten with lately:

Our wedding <3

Last Friday while most of the world was obsessing over the Royal Wedding, I was actually getting married in Aruba! We traveled with 20 of our closest family and friends to Eagle Beach, Aruba, exchanged vows, and danced the night away right on the beach. The weather was absolutely perfect and the whole thing went off without a hitch. We all came back very tan and are all already talking about our next trip to the island. I can’t wait to see the images from our photographer, but until I have those to share with you, this will have to do. Thank you for hanging in there with me, as I know posts have been sparse in the weeks leading up to my wedding, but blogging should resume once I get caught up on these emails! xo, Melanie
