I recently purchased Diana Lind’s new book, Brooklyn Modern. As the title would suggest the book explores modern architecture and design in the borough. I have already found so much inspiration in the book–the images, stories and essays are all fantastic. One of my favorite spaces pictured is the apartment of artist, Lena Corwin, which is located in Fort Greene. Here are a few of my favorite images from the book…

cover, Crown Heights, Susan Boyle & Benton Brown

Park Slope, Pilar Guzman, Chris Mitchell & Tayler Hays

Boerum Hill, Tina Manis

Williamsburg, Bill Harvey

In addition to fantastic images the book features an essay by Design*Sponge blogger Grace! You will be endlessly inspired when you purchase the book. You can do so online at here or at a bookseller near you.
