Bond No. 9 will be releasing its third fragrance in the Andy Warhol series, the latest being Lexington Avenue which will be available September 2008! Andy Warhol lived on Lexington (in the Murray Hill neighborhood) in the 1950s while he was working as an illustrator and gained fame for his ink drawings of shoes which were featured in commercial advertisements. This of course explains the fabulous design of the new Bond no. 9 bottle:

The fragrance, which has been described as a “floral woody chypre scent” was developed by perfumer Claude Dir. The notes include blue cypress, fennel, cardamom, pink peony, iris, crème brûlée, pimento berry, patchouli and sandalwood.

Prices will be as follows: $195 for100-ml. bottle, and $135 for 50-ml. size.
