The Fall 2009 collection for the eco-conscious line Bodkin Brooklyn {designed by former Nylon writer, Eviana Hartman} was presented at The Horticultural Society of New York. The label is focused on sustainable design so they use recycled and re-purposed materials and naturally derived dyes. The collection featured dip-dyed tights, simply cut mini dresses with cut-out details, t-shirt dresses, anaraks, & even a few jumpsuits. Bodkin shows us the limit-less possibilities of sustainable fashion, which is probably the reason why they were recently awarded the first Ecco Domani sustainable design award.
