Today is the first day here in New York that it has actually felt like Spring. Walking Sophie this morning through the neighborhood the sun was shining, the trees were blooming, the birds chirping, and the temperature was approaching 70!  I couldn’t be more thrilled! The spring looks that have been gathering in my closet over the past few months will FINALLY see the light of day! While planning my outfit for the day I decided to pull out a look that embraces one of my favorite trends of the season…color blocking, as I will be wearing this lovely Marc by Marc dress.  I find this to be of the most flattering & versatile trends of the season and one that can be taken in several different directions from bold geometric shapes, bold colors, to a basic black and white.

Below you will find some of my favorite color-blocked items from around the web– some of which were seen on the spring runways,  others so affordable they are likely to be found in high school hallways!
