Every girl has a list of products that help her get through the day, so I thought I would share mine with you. I have compiled a list of my essential items along with a few current favorites that are presently overcrowding my already too small bathroom. The products pictured below take me from my morning shower to right up before I crawl in bed every day. I swear by them, and you should too. 🙂

This is a fun post idea! Do you mind if I do something similar on P&C? It could be like a new blogger meme (cause we don’t have enough of those…) 😉

I think this looks like too much work. I am a mother of 4 and there’s no way I would have time to use all of those products. I also wouldn’t want to spend that much money on all of it.

Ms. P&C feel free to do something similar…I love seeing what other people’s beauty systems are!! It is the best way to discover new products!

I guess that means I’m high maintenance b/c these are the products I use every day. Granted, I don’t have any kids, but I do maintain a busy schedule.

Honestly, my time getting ready in the morning is minimal. Admittedly, my hair is naturally straight and doesn’t require a ton of styling, so that helps me in the time department. I spend the most time actually picking items out of my closet.

My morning routine goes a bit like this: shower, brush teeth, get dressed, throw makeup on, run comb through hair, & dash to the subway (hair still damp!). Total time: 1 hour or less!

I can certainly understand the money aspect. If you are on a budget, invest in some good makeup brushes and a good brush cleaner then purchase your makeup at your local drugstore. If you take good care of your brushes, you won’t have to replace them often. (whatever you do don’t let your dog get a hold of them! 🙂 I have a pesky beagle that likes to steal things!) The applicators that come with most drugstore makeup palettes don’t do the trick (in my humble opinion), so save money on makeup, but use actual makeup brushes (they don’t have to be professional quality like mine, but some are better than none at all!). This will cut your costs in half!

Makeup, shampoo, and face wash/wipes are the only thing that really get expensive for me, because I go through it like crazy. These also happen to be the items you can easily get for less money at your local drugstore and still look fabulous everyday.
