NY Fall 2006 Fashion week is here!
let me put in my two cents!

dvf:

dvf stayed true to form–classic beauty. i love the red dress+black over coat.

rachel comey:

i adore this printed white dress–odd enough this was the piece that seemed to come out of left field in this collection.

verrier:

the collection was sophisticated with hints of modern elegance. i had hoped for more unexpected elements to push the envelope a bit or at the very least more continuity.

willow:

there were details i liked, but i was turned off by this collection.

y & kei:

blah! overall, i was left with a bad taste in my mouth! however, i felt the dress on the right was very pretty.

sari gueron:

i loved it, i’m not enthralled but love is love.

kenneth cole:

loved the coats & this dress.

jenni kanye:

this collection clearly lacked direction, but there were elements that i loved. i loved the black dress on the left. i was dissappointed with the showing of the ubiquitous gaucho/cropped pants.

jasmin shokrian:

i thought this collection was very pretty, feminine, & artsy. i especially loved shaping of the skirts & the open back dresses in this collection. however, i felt the blouses were an unflattering shape.

OK, I know I’m a guy and don’t get this stuff, but c’mon. These women are hot and could be dressed in burlap…they’d still be hot.
Hmmm burlap would be kinda hot.
