With all of the miles I've been running this year, my old Nike Shox have been taking a serious beating, so I recently treated myself to a new pair of Nike iD running shoes! I didn't find any shoes in stores that I loved, but I wanted to keep my Nike + compatibility so I opted to try out Nike iD. I chose my shoe, color combination on everything right down to the laces, and even had them embroider my name on the side! I got my order in just in time to guarantee Christmas delivery so I will have time to break them in even before my new years resolution goes into full effect! The shoes were shipped to me directly from Nike's factory in China and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!! Check 'em out:

Brittany Murphy died at age of 32 this morning in Los Angeles. The cause of death is still under investigation, but is reportedly due to cardiac arrest. Murphy was in two of my favorite movies, "Girl, Interrupted" and of course "Clueless", her breakout role. Watch a clip of Clueless below:

Britney Spears graces the cover of Elle's January 2010 issue with her adorable boys. The January cover is a flip cover with Lady Gaga sharing the honor. It is so great to see the pop princess looking happy and healthy! For Gaga's Elle shoot, she stayed true to her lyrics "walk, walk fashion baby, work it move that bitch crazy" with a more fashion-y pictorial. The magazine also features Brooklyn Decker's menswear inspired shoot that was featured on MTV's the City.

The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M Lingerie collection was unveiled in Paris at a lavish & whimsical party with celebs and fashionistas in attendance. The collection will debut in approx. 1,500 H&M stores worldwide on December 5th. An accompanying knitwear collection for women and girls will debut in approx. 200 stores on February 20th. Rodarte's capsule collection will launch at Target stores nationwide and on target.com December 20, 2009 and will be available through February 6, 2009. While some of the dresses might be cute in person most of the collection looks like it should be in a Lady Gaga video. If you are in NYC you will have the opportunity to check out the collection in person at the Target-to-Go pop-up from Dec. 11 to Dec. 13 (10 am - 8 pm). The shop will be located next to the Highline (Gansevoort & Washington Street) in the meatpacking district and will feature other holiday gift selections from Target so you can pick up something for everyone on your list! :)

Zac Posen's gowns always seem to leave me breathless. In fact, many of my red carpet favorites have been his designs. Sadly, the closest I've ever come to owning one of his designs was his Wolford and Seven jeans collaborations and in the case of the jeans terribly expensive. His Australian Target capsule collection gave me a thread of hope but was in the wrong hemisphere. Now, finally he is launching two collections that are closer to being wallet friendly and will be available right here in the states...

1) Z Spoke, a lower priced line exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue, price point examples: $78 for a t-shirt & $675 for a knit dress. The collection will debut this spring.

2) A capsule collection for Target that will be available in Target stores and Target.com from April 25 to May 30, and is expected to have a price point that ranges from $14.99 to $149.99.

While neither venture is likely to have the same breathtaking effects as some of his runway creations, it will likely please my spring wardrobe!

Tim Burton's work will be on display at the New York City MoMA from November 22, 2009 to April 26, 2010. Being a huge Tim Burton fan, I plan on checking it out this weekend! Tim Burton gives a little insight on the exhibition in the video below:
