Monochrome Wardrobes
Do you love one color (other than black) so much that you are tempted to create a monochrome wardrobe? Joanna Goddard (you may know her from her blog A Cup Of Jo) just wrote a fantastic article in New York Magazine profiling five New Yorkers who choose to wear one color exclusively. Three of which are pictured below:![]() Karim Rashid, an industrial designer, wears only pink and white; Rebecca Turbow, a fashion designer, wears only grey; and Valeria “ValBlu” McCulloch, a shoe designer, wears only Yves Klein blue. Read the article here, it is fascinating. If I were choose one color...I think I would be tempted to choose pink, BUT I look better in blue. In the end I don't think I could choose between the colors...I love them all to much. What color would you choose? post a commentI love the idea of a monochromatic wardrobe. It's amazing how a variety of shapes and patterns, which would otherwise be cacophonous, can be used harmoniously when in monochrome. Those pictures are fun to see.
