Presently, I am quite fond of nature inspired jewelry. Jewelry created from wood & geodes, rings & pendants shaped into leaves & feathers, and chain necklaces utilizing mixed metals are finding their way into my jewel box this fall! The Nantaka Joy website is now live, so you can access Joy's adorable letterpress cards & mini-journals from anywhere at anytime (OH JOY!). All of Joy's designs warm my heart, so the most difficult thing is to choose a favorite. I have nearly filled up my Nantaka Joy mini scalloped edge journal that I carry around in my purse every day just in case I need to jot down an idea while on the go, thus I am need of a Nantaka Joy fix (that's right, I'm addicted!). Three Potato Four is my new favorite online shop as it has an endless supply of gorgeous, unique goodness that I simply cannot get enough of! The shop has everything from fine art prints, printed kitchenware, home accents, journals, and of course my favorite, paperie! My wallet's only hope is if my internet access somehow fails. Being a HUGE fan of Hayden-Harnett lush leather handbags (especially the Paule Marrot editions) I was thrilled when HH launched an apparel line. Emma Fletcher's Fall 2007 Lyell Collection is bound to inject old world charm into your closet this season. The simple yet sophisticated styling captured my interest immediately! The lush silks & velvets seen through out are alluring to the senses, while the collection's clean lines, lace trim, pleats, and pintucks all add a refined, feminine touch to the looks. This weekend my favorite pair of gold Repetto flats died (RIP). I have had them forever, but sadly my left shoe (I have no idea why it was only my left) became so tore up that it was actually quite impossible to walk in them! It looked like I had held up the side of my shoe to a grinder!! I am so hard on my ballet flats, I suppose because I walk around so much in the city, but these have outlasted all of my other flats combined! These flats were going the distance, so naturally, I was devastated when I had to say good-bye. They were beyond repair! :( Those shoes & I had some good times damnit! It probably didn't help that I got caught out in the rain while wearing them this past week (I was seriously cursing the heavens!), but now I am in the market for some new favorite flats, so if there is one thing that will help me get over my recent loss it will be a pair of new fabulous shoes. I've become a Repetto loyalist, so here a few of my favorite finds from Repetto!!
