Dan-ah Kim is a freelance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She was born in Seoul & graduated from the Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design.
I love Dan-ah's work because she always seems to employ and unexpected element or technique into each of her mixed media pieces, giving them the appearance of being a collage.
{l to r, top to bottom}: "While I Wait For Spring" print $15.00 @ etsy; "Le Sigh" 8x10 print $15; "One Day You'll Understand" 8x10 print $15 @ etsy; "I'm waiting for your train to come and get me" 8x10 print $15 @ etsy; "hello stranger" 5" x 7" print $20 available until march 8, 2007 @ pretty darn swell; my favorite piece of dan-ah kim's is entitled "kite loser"
