Piece by piece my apartment is coming together. This weekend as I was sorting my portfolio and some art supplies, I found a painting that Melissa Shatto had sent me. I have been trying to get stuff up on the walls, and have discovered this is my biggest challenge. There are too many choices and important decisions to be made in this. When I found the painting I had set aside prior to our move I knew I had to hang it on the wall immediately! I haven't even touched the walls in the living room so they are looking very bare, but somehow when I hung this small painting in our bedroom I felt so accomplished. Even the tiniest thing on the wall makes the room feel more like home and more complete.

Melissa Shatto My boyfriend also needed some new pint glasses so we made a quick trip to Urban Outfitters and I found these adorable plates that also happened to be on sale!
I love the simplicity of the design on these plates by black thistle (4 for $15 at urban outfitters)
I hope to have even more progress next weekend!
