katie couric is leaving nbc's today show in may after 15 years to become the the evening news anchor @ CBS and will also do work for CBS's 60 minutes. Couric will become the first woman ever to lead an evening newscast on her own! I'm really excited for her, and as a long time fan of the today show I may just have to flip on over to CBS for evening news!!! congrats katie, but i'll miss seeing you on my way to work! --maybe we'll have lunch sometime since your new office will be across the street from me?! plan on it!
