globes winners circle

i was soo happy to see reese witherspoon and phillip seymour hoffman win last night, but i was dissappointed that scarlett johanssonn was passed up for best supporting actress!!!

on a another note i was surprised that brokeback mountain came away with so many wins in the categories it did, because honestly, having just viewed the movie yesterday, it left me underwhelmed (although this is largely due to hype). i will say however, the film was beautifully acted (save for heath ledgers dip-inspired accent), but phillip seymour hoffman deserved his win and i don't believe heath was "snubbed" ( sorry heath i still love u) .

now to the stuff that MATTERS: :)
reese witherspoon in chanel(the ultimate winner!); kierra knightly in valentino
michelle williams looked gorgeous in givenchy w/ the blonde hair and surprisingly made my list (it helps that she has the best accessory in heath ledger right?)

natalie portman in Chanel

renee zellweger

scarlett in valentino it was "safe" and some are calling it "blah" but i think she can't go wrong.
maria bello in elie saab

eva longoria in bob mackie --could she be any more perfect?
felicity huffman in an empire-waisted Marchesa--she looked good and she won so she made my cut

charlize theron in a dress by john galliano for dior --this barely made my cut it is a gorgeous dress on a gorgeous girl i was just a bit unsure if they go together, but i like the dress so here we are :) emmy rossum works it as always and i am sooo jealous of her skin kate beckinsale in dior-- gorgeous teri hatcher in versace; my favorite desparate housewife taking a chance in a gold froc and winning

major dissappointment for me was anne hathaway in marc jacobs. gross. honorable mention: sarah jessica parker in rochas, however, i was a teeny tiny dissappointed in her choice as well but with that said she still looked great.

note:
kirsten dunst wore the chanel dress reese wore last night in 2003 for the globes (gasp) but if you ask me reese looked better so who cares..."vintage schmintage" i still loved it...

Oh yeah. Reese pulled it off much better than Kirsten.
